Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026. By using DNS Blade you agree to these terms.

Acceptable use

DNS Blade is a free set of diagnostic tools. You may use it for personal, academic, or commercial purposes. You may NOT:

  • Use the tools to attack, probe, or overwhelm infrastructure you don't own or have written permission to test.
  • Automate queries in a way that degrades service for others. If you need bulk access, contact us for an API.
  • Scrape the site to rebuild it under another brand.
  • Use the tools to send spam, phish, or facilitate illegal activity.

Rate limits

Server-side tools are rate-limited per IP to keep the service fast and free. If you hit a limit, wait a minute and try again, or reach out for a higher allowance.

No warranty

The tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. DNS, WHOIS and IP databases are updated by third parties and may be stale or incorrect. Always verify critical results with your own authoritative source before acting on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNS Blade and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its output.

Content you paste

You retain ownership of any input you paste into a tool. We claim no rights over it. Client-side tools never transmit your input; server-side tools transmit only what is needed to perform the lookup and don't retain it.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted in the changelog. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
