Informational purpose only
Every tool on DNS Blade β DNS lookups, WHOIS/RDAP queries, SSL/TLS inspection, email authentication checks, IP intelligence and the developer utilities β is provided as a free public resource for informational and diagnostic use. Results reflect what public resolvers, registries, certificate transparency logs and HTTP endpoints return at the moment of the query.
No warranty
We work hard to keep the tools accurate and fast, but DNS Blade is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that results are complete, current, uninterrupted, or free from error. DNS and WHOIS data change constantly, upstream resolvers may rate-limit or return stale answers, and third-party services can be temporarily unavailable.
Not professional advice
Content on DNS Blade β including guides, best-practice recommendations, and FAQ answers β is written by engineers to help other engineers. It is not legal, financial, compliance, or professional security advice. Decisions that affect production systems, regulatory posture, or business operations should be made in consultation with a qualified professional.
Third-party data
Some tools query third-party services (public DNS resolvers, RDAP registries, Certificate Transparency logs, public IP intelligence APIs). We do not control these upstream services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or licensing terms. When those services enforce rate limits or return errors, you may see partial results.
Acceptable use
You must only query domains, IPs, and endpoints you own or are authorized to test. Do not use DNS Blade to attack, deanonymize, scrape at abusive rates, or otherwise interfere with any system, person, or organization. We may throttle or block requests that appear abusive.
External links
DNS Blade may link to external websites. Those sites operate under their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Changes
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. Continued use of DNS Blade after changes means you accept the updated version.
