BIMI Checker

Query {selector}._bimi.{domain} for the BIMI TXT record and referenced SVG logo.

About the BIMI Checker

The BIMI Checker looks up the BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) record for a domain and verifies the logo URL, VMC (Verified Mark Certificate) URL and syntax. BIMI is a relatively new email standard that lets brands display their verified logo next to authenticated messages in supporting inboxes (Gmail, Yahoo, Apple Mail with iOS 16+, Fastmail). It's a strong deliverability and trust signal — but only works when your DMARC posture is at p=quarantine or p=reject with 100% enforcement.

Setting up BIMI is a chain of requirements: enforce DMARC at quarantine or reject, produce an SVG Tiny PS logo that meets strict format rules, obtain a Verified Mark Certificate from an authorized CA (DigiCert or Entrust) — which requires a trademarked logo — and finally publish the BIMI TXT record at `default._bimi.yourdomain.com` pointing at the SVG and VMC. This checker validates each step is in place.

Use it after publishing your record, when troubleshooting why Gmail isn't showing your logo, or when auditing another brand's BIMI setup for competitive research. Also confirm your DMARC alignment is solid — receivers refuse to display BIMI logos for domains that don't enforce DMARC.
